Foxwoods® Resort Casino Presents Second Annual Savor, A celebration of Food, Wine & Spirits

MASHANTUCKET, Conn, Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the largest resort casino in North America, is excited to present the second annual Savor, A celebration of Wine, Food & Spirits. Taking place April 7 – 9, 2016 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, the three-day event will spotlight some of the world’s top culinary talent in partnership with celebrity chef Robert Irvine, host of the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible.” Irvine will be joined by other well-known chefs, world-renowned vintners and spirits enthusiasts who will come together to share their love for exquisite flavors with the local community. Guests will enjoy a vast selection of local dishes from regional restaurants, culinary demonstrations, and wine, beer and fine spirits tastings.

Savor is a proud supporter of the Robert Irvine Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that honors the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces, military personnel (active, retired and veterans) and their families as well as organizations that support such individuals. Savor will once again donate a portion of ticket sales to the foundation.

To kick off Savor, Foxwoods is hosting a private press event on Monday, February 22, featuring Robert Irvine at the resort’s newly opened fine dining experience VUE 24, located on the 24th floor of Grand Pequot Tower.

Hosted by Plan b burger bar and featuring Chef Robert Irvine, guests will taste all five limited and rare batches of Pappy (10, 12, 15, 20 and 23 years aged). Guests will also enjoy a Kentucky style soiree tasting with a menu including Kentucky ham, hot browns, fried green tomatoes, BBQ pork, mini burgers, pecan pie and more.
