A Personal Note At the End of The Year From Robert to You
Dear Friends,
Our nation’s heroes never give up, no matter the challenge, no matter the cost. At the Robert Irvine Foundation, we carry that same spirit forward every day. Because when our veterans return home, the battle doesn’t always end.
The suicide rate for veterans is 60% higher than it is for civilians.
That’s why we created Mission: VetFit, a pilot program designed to strengthen both mind and body. Together, powered by EōS Fitness, we’re pairing veterans with personal trainers and wellness coaches who understand their journey. In my own life, I’ve learned that building physical strength, eating a nutritious diet, and developing emotional resilience share a path.
During the kickoff event for the program, U.S. Army (Ret.) John V. illustrated perfectly why this program is so important when he said:
“There was a time where all of us here were operating at a high level. At some point, we got lost. Life got in the way. This program gives us the opportunity to get back on track, together. The camaraderie, the consistency, the motivation. This is exactly what I needed to feel strong again, both physically and mentally. I’m deeply grateful to the Robert Irvine Foundation and their supporters for giving us this opportunity to rebuild and find that strength again.”
We’re serving thousands of meals to military members and families, reuniting veterans with their brothers and sisters in arms, providing life-changing mobility devices and service dogs, and offering critical assistance to heroes and their families facing hardship.
