Military Spouse and Parent
Julie Williams, MBA, is a project manager with the Consortium for Defense Psychology (CDP), where she supports the Military Child & Family Collaboratory, an initiative dedicated to improving access to high-quality behavioral health care for military-connected children and families. Her work focuses on advancing best practices, expanding telehealth, and strengthening systems that better serve military families.
Prior to joining CDP, Julie worked with the Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University on the Star Behavioral Health Providers program, helping expand access to culturally competent care for military-connected individuals while promoting the adoption of evidence-based practices. Her career also includes leadership roles in community mental health, program coordination, and higher education, where she supported service delivery, workforce development, and cross-sector collaboration.
As a military spouse and the parent of an active-duty Marine, Julie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work.
