Reed Haley

Region President, Sysco
Reed Haley serves as Region President at Sysco, the global
foodservice leader delivering food to clients and customers in 90
countries around the world.
In June 2025 Reed was appointed President of the Southern Rockies Region
for Sysco – a diverse region spanning 15,000+ clients and customers across
Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming.
Together with his team of 1,000+ colleagues in the Southern Rockies, Haley is
responsible for selling, marketing and distributing food & non-food products
and services to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging
establishments and other customers throughout the region. In 2025, Sysco’s
Southern Rockies Region will provide $1.7Bn in products and services to the
community – including the delivery of over 35 million cases of food and non-
food products.
Haley began his career as an Engineer at Tesla Motors in Fremont, California.
Next, he was a leader at McKinsey & Company in the Advanced Industries
practice where he executed sales and digital transformations around the
world – primarily for distribution, manufacturing, and quick-service
restaurants. In 2021, Reed left McKinsey & Company to join a series of Private
Equity portfolios as an operator including Bain Capital, KKR, and Platinum
Equity; During his tenure as a portfolio executive, Reed held a number of roles
including General Manager, Head of Operations, and Chief of Strategy.
Haley earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan where he
graduated with High Honors from the College of Engineering. He serves on the
board of a number of non-profit institutions including the Colorado and Illinois
Restaurant Associations.
