Scott Sonnemaker

Scott Sonnemaker proudly served our nation as an active-duty member of the United States Navy from 1985 to 1990, completing four overseas deployments during his time in uniform.

Following his military service, Scott built an impressive career in the private sector, holding senior leadership roles including Chief Customer Officer of Sysco Corporation and Group President of Genuine Parts Company, North American Automotive. In these positions, he worked closely with Chef Robert Irvine and the Robert Irvine Foundation, aligning corporate support with veteran-focused initiatives.

Throughout his successful business career, Scott’s deep commitment to supporting veterans and their families has remained a driving force. Today, he continues to champion causes that uplift those who have served—combining his military experience and executive leadership to make a lasting impact.
