Marine Corps veteran, founder of Solace Mind®
Sylvia Feliciano is a Marine Corps veteran, founder of Solace Mind®, a wellness practice, and a passionate advocate for military families. With extensive experience in strategic advisement, program management, and mental health advocacy, she has worked closely with military and veteran communities, providing trauma-informed care and wellness support. Sylvia is a proud mother of three, including two sons who served honorably in the Marine Corps and a daughter whose strength inspires her daily. Her personal journey, shaped by her children's experiences and profoundly impacted by the loss of her son to suicide, deeply motivates her commitment to supporting the military community. She has helped develop crisis intervention modules for first responders, sharing her son's story to honor his legacy and help others. Additionally, she has gained direct experience working on crisis hotlines, providing critical support to those in immediate need.
Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Sylvia seeks to enhance her ability to provide therapeutic support to individuals, particularly military personnel, veterans, and their families, on a global scale. As a Robert Irvine Foundation ambassador, she aims to actively contribute to initiatives promoting well-being, resilience, and community connection, ensuring that service members and their families receive essential support. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating lasting, positive change for those who have served, emphasizing the importance of community, support, and healing.
