Let’s Chow

Let’s Chow
The Purpose

How It Started
Jordan Foley, a Navy JAG officer, founded Let’s Chow in 2020 after losing a close friend and fellow veteran to suicide while trying to open a culinary business. Inspired by his friend’s passion, Jordan built programs to help veterans break into the culinary world. The Food Truck Training Program offers hands-on training, business mentorship, and a strong community for veterans & military spouses.

2024 - The Official Food Truck Program
As fellow veterans and culinary enthusiasts, Jordan and Robert have shared a strong friendship, and for a number of years the Foundation supported Jordan’s vision as Let’s Chow grew and developed. In 2024, Let’s Chow officially became a program of the Robert Irvine Foundation, expanding the reach and deepening the impact of the program.

Mission With a Kitchen
An initiative of Let’s Chow, Kitchen with a Mission provides hands-on culinary training and business mentorship while reinforcing a commitment to service. Participants use their skills to support community events, assist in disaster relief, combat food insecurity in military and veteran communities, and contribute to veteran-focused philanthropy.
