Supporting the Strength of Those Who Serve

A meaningful milestone recently took place at Fort Hood with the opening of 42 Bistro, a first-of-its-kind dining facility designed to give soldiers greater access to fresh, high-quality meal options.

Robert Irvine joined military leaders and service members to celebrate the grand opening of the bistro, which allows soldiers to use their existing meal entitlements for healthier, more flexible dining options right on base.

From smoothies and acai bowls to salads and Italian favorites, the menu provides convenient meals designed to support the demanding schedules and performance needs of today’s service members.

Improving Access to Nutritious Food

Access to nutritious food plays a critical role in readiness, long-term health, and overall well-being. During the development of 42 Bistro, Robert consulted with the United States Army to help ensure the concept delivers convenient, quality meals that support performance and resilience.

At the Robert Irvine Foundation, we are proud of Robert’s continued work supporting the military community and helping advance initiatives that prioritize the health and well-being of those who serve. Efforts like this reflect a growing commitment to ensuring service members have access to food options that help them stay mission-ready.

A Step Forward for the Military Community

Initiatives like 42 Bistro represent meaningful progress in strengthening the overall wellness of the military community. By expanding access to nutritious, high-quality meals on base, service members have more opportunities to fuel their bodies, support their health, and maintain the readiness required for their mission.

A meaningful step forward for those who serve.
