U.S. Army Veteran

Francisco “Frank” Fernandez-Duarte enlisted in the United States Army as an 11B Infantryman and served with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, New York, and the 25th Infantry Division. During his military career, he completed three combat deployments and served in key leadership roles as a Non-Commissioned Officer.

Following his honorable discharge, Frank used his Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Brandman University (Chapman University). In 2022, he completed his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University.

Frank has worked across a wide range of therapeutic settings, gaining extensive experience supporting veterans and their families. His mission is to help active-duty service members and veterans successfully reintegrate into civilian life and rediscover purpose.

He currently serves as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supporting veterans through the Orange County Veterans Treatment Court and is also certified as an EAGALA Mental Health Professional, incorporating equine-assisted therapy into his work with the veteran community.

If this is for a specific section (Mobius recipients, ambassadors, program participants, etc.), I can also tailor the tone to match the others you’ve been compiling so everything feels consistent across the site.
