Jordan Foley

VP, Let’s Chow Program

Lieutenant Commander Jordan Foley, U.S. Navy Reserve, is a Naval officer, culinary entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for veterans seeking purpose beyond military service. As Vice President and Director of the Let’s Chow Program at the Robert Irvine Foundation, Jordan leads a groundbreaking initiative that equips veterans and military spouses with the tools, training, and support to pursue careers in the culinary and hospitality industries.

Jordan began his military career upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 2012, commissioning as a Naval Officer and serving aboard submarines before transitioning to the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. His legal career in the Navy allowed him to advocate for service members, while simultaneously deepening his understanding of the challenges they face during and after active duty.

While attending law school, Jordan suffered the tragic loss of a close friend and fellow veteran to suicide—someone who had fallen into debt trying to launch a business after service. This moment became a turning point in Jordan’s life and the inspiration behind the creation of Let’s Chow in 2020—dedicated to helping veterans find purpose, community, and opportunity in the culinary world.

Driven by a lifelong passion for cooking and mentorship, Jordan enrolled in culinary school, completing his training in 2021. Since then, he has merged his love for food, service, and leadership to help veterans navigate the transition to civilian life through meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.

Let’s Chow officially became a program of the Robert Irvine Foundation, allowing the program to expand its reach and impact. Under Jordan’s leadership, the program offers culinary training, food truck incubation, and a supportive network for veterans and military spouses across the country.

Jordan continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve while growing Let’s Chow and advocating for innovative veteran transition solutions. He is deeply committed to honoring his friend’s legacy by ensuring no veteran feels alone in the pursuit of their next mission.
