Tim NeCastro is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Erie Insurance (ERIE), a Fortune 500 company based in Erie, Pennsylvania, providing auto, home, business, and life insurance across 12 states and the District of Columbia, with more than seven million policies in force.

Mr. NeCastro joined Erie Insurance in 1996 and has built a distinguished career spanning finance, operations, and sales. He began by leading the Internal Auditing Department, followed by his appointment as Senior Vice President of the Controller Division in 1997. In 2008, he transitioned to operations as Senior Vice President of Product and Policy Services, and in 2010, he took on a key field leadership role as Senior Vice President and Regional Officer, overseeing ERIE’s operations in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Illinois, and Wisconsin. In 2014, he successfully led ERIE’s market expansion into Kentucky, and in 2016, he was named President and CEO.

Prior to his tenure at ERIE, Mr. NeCastro served as Director of Finance for The Plastek Group, and spent a decade at Ernst & Young, where he advanced to Senior Manager in both the Cleveland and Erie offices of the global public accounting firm.

A proud Erie native, Mr. NeCastro holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Gannon University and remains deeply committed to civic and regional development. He is the Founding Board President of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation, a transformative initiative driving the revitalization of the city’s urban core. He also serves as Board Chairman of Infinite Erie, sits on the Executive Committee of the Erie Community Foundation, and contributes to statewide and national causes through his board roles with Team Pennsylvania and the American Property Casualty Insurance Association. He is also Treasurer and Council Member for The Pennsylvania Society.

Mr. NeCastro is a dedicated advocate for military families and veterans, proudly serving on the Advisory Council of the Robert Irvine Foundation, where he supports efforts to empower and honor those who serve our nation.
