The Purpose

About The Coalition
The Face the Fight Coalition is a powerful alliance of nonprofits, foundations, corporations, and government liaisons dedicated to raising awareness and driving support for veteran suicide prevention.
By leveraging the expertise of nonprofit members and the resources of our philanthropic partners, we will reach a wider audience and drive meaningful change.

The Facts
Over 125,000 veterans have died by Suicide since 2001. The veteran suicide rate is 60% higher than the national average. Nearly 40%of veterans have died by suicide did not have diagnoses of mental health or substance use disorders.

Being Part of The Solution
Our Face the Fight initiative works to reduce veteran suicide by promoting secure firearms storage, effective intervention practices, and access to crucial life-saving resources. These evidence-based strategies are seamlessly woven into our Food, Wellness, and Community programs, ensuring a holistic and sustainable approach to veteran well-being.
